Personal Shoppers Need More Resources
The rise of the “Stylist” has revolutionized retail sales over the past decade. A world of 30,000+ stylists have the potential to be incredibly valuable to the retail industry, but lack the tools to start, grow and scale successfully.
Garmentier was founded in 2018 by professional Stylist and retail veteran Lisa Bubes who recognized the potential for personal shoppers to change the retail world through an entirely new direct sales model. With their own books of business and the right resources, independent personal shoppers can bring a whole new channel to retail marketing.
“The secret sauce has been and always will be people - the human touch. It’s time for us to enable those people to provide a great experience for consumers - across retailers and brands.”

BREE JACOBY, HEAD OF PARTNERSHIPS
Bree Jacoby is an L.A. native with a splash of East Coast mentality and spunk. An entrepreneur since her teen years, Bree was managing and building retail businesses by the age of 20. With a strong sense of style and passion for the apparel world, Bree founded her first luxury personal styling company, BREE JACOBY, Home of Style in June of 2017. Bree and Lisa were introduced serendipitously in 2016 and found themselves to be close friends and destined businesses partners since their days together at Trunk Club, where they dreamed of changing the retail landscape together. Bree shares in Garmentier's vision of innovation through direct sales and non-inventory retail models, and her natural talent for spearheading partnerships is second to none. When Bree isn’t styling or building businesses, you can find her hanging with her family (and new nephew, Beau!), at a workout class in Santa Monica, or drinking wine in Napa!
